Baptist Chaplaincy at Mayo Clinic Hospitals
As your partner in pastoral ministry, I want to assist you in providing pastoral ministry to Mayo Clinic patients and their families. From time to time, one of your church family may be a patient at one of the Mayo Clinic Hospitals in Rochester, MN. If so, please contact me and I will visit them to provide pastoral support and encouragement. Each day, I receive a list of all in-patients who are registered as "Baptist" and "SBC". This list averages 30-50 patients per day. If one of your church family is here on an out-patient basis, and perhaps staying at a local motel/hotel, I will not know about them unless they or you contacts me to provide information on how to contact them. If you know ahead of time, please email all known information to me. If the need is more urgent, please use my cell number. As you know, when people experience a crisis, they are receptive to Gods ministry. Some additional services I can provide include: 1) Scripture based encouragement and prayer support. 2) Assisting in securing motel/hotel, hospitality house lodging. 3) Assisting with transportation arrangements. 4) Assisting with Mayo Clinic arrangements. 5) Periodic volunteer Chaplain training.
Prayer is a vital part of my ministry. Like you, I have seen God do miraculous things because of prayer. I need your regular prayer support. Add "Mayo Chaplaincy" to your prayer lists. On a typical day, I will see 20-30 visits per day. I cannot do this apart from Gods leading, wisdom, and strength. Thank you for your prayerful support and encouragement.
