When Amer and his wife, Vicky, arrived in Cincinnati, they began visiting stores where Arabs worked and shopped. They worked with the English as a Second Language ministry at a nearby Southern Baptist church. They began to lay the groundwork of a new Arabic-language church that launched in December 2019. The church started with 22 people. Just three months later, the church had grown to 55 people from eight countries. God is using the young church to reach people. For example, Ricky came to the church looking for someone to perform his wedding in Arabic. Amer shared the gospel with him, and he accepted Christ as his savior. God keeps bringing people to them who need to hear the gospel.
When our church gives to the Cooperative Program, we support the ministry of the Safadis as they reach the Arab people of Cincinnati with the gospel of Jesus Christ.
Pray for God to continue to bring opportunities for the Safadis to have gospel conversations among the Arabs of Cincinnati.
