IMB missionary Gary Warrior and his friends meet regularly in a Central Asian restaurant to discuss their faith in Christ over plates of plov and kabobs. With more than 20 years in the region, Gary mentors missionary teams while staying personally involved in evangelism, discipleship, and church planting. He and his wife, Ann, have seen God transform lives, including Frank, a new believer eager to learn and share the gospel. Frank has invited others to Bible discussions, leading to multiple conversions. After a time back in the U.S., Gary and Ann returned to find that 10 people in Frank’s village are ready for baptism, with hopes of starting a church. The Warriors remain confident that God is continuing His work in the region as they work toward establishing a healthy church with national leadership.
